Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.
LEA Specific Early Literacy Goals
By June 1, 2019, Endeavor Hall will reduce the percentage of first grade students scoring well below benchmark on their DIBELS composite score from BOY to EOY by 7% by implementing our CKLA curriculum with fidelity, emphasizing intervention strategies, and incorporating Amplify data. Primary focus for the year will be on phonics and sound blending. Instructional coaching will be increased, including classroom observations and implementation of explicit phonemic awareness and phonics routines. Reducing the amount of students not proficient in NWF will improve future level of reading comprehension. Endeavor Hall met this LEA specific goal by reducing the percentage of first grade students in the well-below benchmark category from BOY to EOY by 12%.
From the 2017-18 school year to the 2018-19 school year, Endeavor Hall had a significant decrease in out of school suspensions across all grades. This was achieved by implementing a restorative practice approach to behavior and discipline. 2017-2018: 25 out of school suspensions for a total of 46 days 2018-2019: 9 out of school suspensions for a total of 23 days.
