Investment in Building a Strong School Culture

Northwest Middle School offers AVID, Fine Arts, Theater Arts, Intramural Sports, Debate, Student Government, STEM classes and programs, Academic Game Plan, and school-wide social/emotional lesson plans. We support efforts to close learning gaps between our disaggregated student groups by offering full curricular activities and programs to build leadership, social/emotional, and academic skills in all our students. We further support our students by providing regular professional development to our staff on supporting students toward becoming fluent in English and reading regardless of their status as a language learner or Special Education needs.
