Teacher Effectiveness and Instructional Equity

Newman teachers systematically implement evidence-based teaching strategies and apply equitable student academic supports to tier 1 and 2 instruction though the use of grade-level Professional Learning Communities, ongoing professional development, and blended learning methods. Equity is furthered by 1:1 student access to electronic devices. Our school counselor also provides students Social Emotional Learning skills at every grade level. We boast a highly qualified teaching staff of which 85% have advanced degrees.
