Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.
Adhere to Meadowlark School Improvement Plan
Meadowlark is in year three of a three-year Focus School improvement cycle. Our four areas of improvement are: leadership, professional development, instruction and culture. Within each area we have a specific plan which may be reviewed in our Utah State Board of Education School Improvement Plan (SIP). Our goal by the end of 2021 is to improve student outcome data on state assessments for all students. The table below shows 2018 baseline data and 2021 Meadowlark goal data: ELA Rise achievement will increase for all students in grades 3 - 6: 2018 baseline: 15% proficient 2021 Goal: 37% proficient Math Rise achievement will increase for all students in grades 3 – 6: 2018 baseline: 27% proficient 2021 Goal: 42% proficient ELA achievement for MLL (ELL) students in grades 3 – 6 will increase: 2018 ELA baseline: data 7% 2021 Goal: 30% proficient Math achievement for MLL (ELL) students in grades 3 – 6 will increases: 2018 baseline: 20% 2021 Goal: 40% proficient
