Concurrent Enrollment/Advanced Placement Classes
At Copper Hills High School, we value opportunities for students to take a large variety of college-level courses while still in high school. We constantly strive to recruit and hire qualified staff to support us in providing these opportunities. These are college-level classes that, with good grades, hard work, and commitment, can earn these students college credit even before graduation from high school. We regularly have students accelerate and boost their college goals by starting early into their chosen college pathway by taking advantage of these increasingly available and affordable options. The following numbers reflect the number of Concurrent Enrollment and Advanced Placement courses that are proudly offered to students at Copper Hills High School: Concurrent Enrollment offerings in 2019: 83 sections of 32 different course titles ranging from Humanities and Art to Math, Science, Business and many more. Advanced Placement offerings in 2019: 36 sections of 20 different course titles ranging from English and Photography to Calculus and Biology and everything in between. We believe that these advanced opportunities at Copper Hills High are translating to better preparedness for college and career bound graduates.

Career and Technical Education Opportunities
At Copper Hills High School, we recognize that after graduation, many students choose to enter a career instead of going to college. For many, this choice was made as a young student and was reinforced by the many opportunities that were afforded them during high school by taking Career and Technical Education courses. Copper Hills High School offers as many or more college level and industry recognized certification programs than any other high school in the state. We constantly strive to recruit and hire qualified staff to support us in providing these opportunities. These career preparation courses, with hard work and commitment, can earn these students industry certifications even before graduation from high school. The following numbers reflect the number of Career and Technical Education courses that are proudly offered to students at Copper Hills High School: CTE offerings in 2019: 152 sections of 67 different course titles available to our students. We believe that these advanced opportunities at Copper Hills High are translating to better preparedness for our career bound graduates.
