SELF-REPORTED INDICATORS

Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.

TEACHER FACTORS Teachers with a master's/endorsements. Out of North Point Elementary's 32 Core teachers, 50% of them have or will have master's degrees by the end of the year. 31% of our teachers have one or several endorsements including Math, Stem, Sped, ELL, ALL and ASL. As technology and times change, we will continue to learn, grow and adapt to provide the best learning environment for our students.

INSTRUCTIONAL FACTORS 1st Gr. Acadience Our first grade 2020 goal was to have 80% of our first grade students have a composite score of 155+ or higher on the Acadience EOY test and have at least 7 out of 12 students below benchmark pass benchmark. By January, 92% of our first grade students met that goal scoring 155+ or higher in their Acadience MOY assessment, and 9/12 students who were below benchmark scored at or above benchmark. We credit our first grade teachers in making reading a priority for our students and ensuring that they are learning the essential reading skills they need to excel in reading.
