Evidence Based / Tiered Instruction for ELL's

K-4 ELL students are receiving tiered intervention services focused on individual listening, speaking, reading, and writing needs. Differentiated instruction is based on student performance and delivered through an evidence-based curriculum.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports

FES has implemented school-wide and classroom expectations that are supported by positive behavioral supports and interventions (PBIS). Teachers have received professional development related to PBIS and trauma-informed practices. Data from quarter 1shows that yearly office discipline referrals decreased by 38%.
