Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.
Extensive Opportunities for Student Participation
Student life at Early Light Academy makes us unique. Our students have the opportunity to participate in innovative programs and activities, such as the Great Artists Program and Tanner Dance, as well as Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program Music Specialists. Our students work in hands-on modern science labs, participate in the Utah State Science Fair Competition, build teamwork skills in an interactive Space Simulator, and interact with Physical Education, Media and Music specialists weekly. In the Junior High Schedule, elective offerings are determined each year based on student and teacher collaborative input. We offer a wide range of extra curricular organizations, as well as in-school enrichment activities. In addition to our state-of-the-art theatre facilities, which produce multiple student productions throughout the year, we boast a “Superior” rated performance choir who competes at the Spring Choir Festival each year. Early Light Academy proudly participates in the Utah Charter League for cross country, volleyball, basketball, and soccer.

These digital resources, including Lexia, STMath, Aleks, and Reflex Math, shift classroom instruction from whole class to a more individualized, student-centered model achieving growth in literacy and accelerated movement in mathematics.
