English Language Development

Last year, 50% of Clayton’s English language learners (ELL) met or exceeded the yearly growth benchmark in comparison to two years ago when less than 10% of ELL students met the same indicator. Classes were structured to support English Language Learners as they acquired the academic and language skills necessary to excel. From culturally-relevant curriculum to our varied after-school opportunities, all Clayton students are invited to extend their learning and success into their new secondary experiences.
